Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: September 1st 2026

Effective Date: September 1, 2026

Welcome to the website of Ovest Insurance Partners (“Ovest,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, online forms, electronic communications, and related online services.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please discontinue use of the website.

1. Insurance Services

Ovest Insurance Partners is an independent insurance agency that assists individuals and businesses with obtaining insurance quotations, placing insurance coverage, and servicing insurance policies.

Insurance products are offered through third-party insurance companies, managing general agents, wholesalers, brokers, and other insurance markets.

The availability, eligibility, pricing, terms, conditions, exclusions, deductibles, and limits of any insurance product are determined by the applicable insurance carrier and are subject to underwriting approval.

2. No Coverage Is Bound Through This Website

Submitting information through this website, requesting an insurance quote, completing an online form, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, submitting payment information, or otherwise communicating with Ovest Insurance Partners does not create, bind, modify, extend, or renew insurance coverage.

Insurance coverage is effective only when it has been formally bound by an authorized insurance carrier or representative and confirmation of coverage has been provided.

You should not assume that insurance coverage is in effect until you receive confirmation that coverage has been bound.

Unless expressly approved by the applicable insurance carrier, insurance coverage cannot be backdated.

3. Insurance Quotes and Proposals

Any insurance quote, indication, estimate, proposal, or premium amount provided by Ovest Insurance Partners is subject to underwriting review and carrier approval.

Insurance premiums, fees, taxes, coverage terms, deductibles, conditions, and eligibility requirements may change before coverage is bound.

Quotes may also change if information provided during the application process is incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or materially different from information subsequently discovered by the carrier or agency.

A quote does not constitute a guarantee that coverage will be issued.

4. Policy Documents Control

Insurance proposals, summaries, emails, website content, certificates, explanations, and other communications provided by Ovest Insurance Partners are intended to assist customers in understanding available insurance options.

They are not substitutes for the actual insurance policy.

The insurance policy, declarations, endorsements, exclusions, conditions, applications, and other documents issued or approved by the insurance carrier constitute the controlling terms of coverage.

If there is any conflict between information provided by Ovest Insurance Partners and the insurance policy issued by the carrier, the terms of the insurance policy will control.

Customers are responsible for reviewing their insurance policies and notifying Ovest Insurance Partners promptly if they believe any information is inaccurate or if coverage does not reflect their requested insurance needs.

5. Accuracy of Information

Insurance underwriting depends upon accurate and complete information.

By providing information to Ovest Insurance Partners, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

You agree to notify us promptly if information previously provided becomes inaccurate or changes materially.

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in changes to premium, coverage restrictions, cancellation, nonrenewal, rescission, denial of a claim, or other action by the applicable insurance carrier.

6. Changes in Your Operations or Exposure

Insurance needs may change when circumstances change.

Customers should notify Ovest Insurance Partners of material changes that may affect their insurance coverage, including changes involving business operations, ownership, locations, vehicles, employees, payroll, revenue, construction, property values, subcontracting, equipment, products, services, or other insured exposures.

Ovest Insurance Partners cannot be responsible for exposures or changes that have not been communicated to the agency.

Notification of a change does not automatically modify an insurance policy. Any requested change remains subject to carrier approval and confirmation.

7. Certificates of Insurance

Certificates of Insurance are issued for informational purposes and provide evidence of insurance coverage in effect as of the date the certificate is issued.

A Certificate of Insurance does not amend, extend, or alter coverage provided by an insurance policy.

Requests for Additional Insured status, Waiver of Subrogation, Primary and Noncontributory coverage, or other contractual insurance requirements are subject to the actual insurance policy and applicable carrier endorsements.

A certificate cannot provide coverage that does not exist under the applicable insurance policy.

8. Premium Payments

Premium payments must be made in accordance with the requirements of the applicable insurance carrier, wholesaler, premium finance company, payment processor, or other authorized party.

Submitting or authorizing payment does not necessarily mean coverage has been bound.

Coverage remains subject to underwriting approval and binding confirmation.

Customers are responsible for complying with payment requirements and deadlines. Failure to make required payments may result in cancellation or nonrenewal of coverage.

9. Premium Financing

Ovest Insurance Partners may assist customers with obtaining premium financing through independent premium finance companies.

Premium financing is subject to separate agreements between the customer and the premium finance company.

Interest rates, finance charges, down payments, installment amounts, cancellation rights, late fees, and other financing terms are governed by the applicable premium finance agreement.

Ovest Insurance Partners is not a lender unless expressly disclosed otherwise.

10. Policy Cancellation and Minimum Earned Premium

Certain insurance policies, particularly surplus lines or specialty insurance policies, may contain minimum earned premium provisions or other restrictions regarding cancellation.

If applicable, a portion of the premium may be nonrefundable even if the policy is cancelled before its scheduled expiration date.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all minimum earned premium provisions, cancellation provisions, policy fees, taxes, finance charges, and other applicable terms.

Refund calculations are determined by the insurance carrier, wholesaler, premium finance company, and applicable policy provisions.

11. Surplus Lines and Non-Admitted Insurance

Certain insurance products offered through Ovest Insurance Partners may be placed with surplus lines or non-admitted insurance carriers.

Surplus lines insurers are not licensed in the same manner as admitted insurers in the applicable state and may not be subject to the same rate or form requirements.

Surplus lines insurance may also not be protected by state insurance guaranty associations in the event of carrier insolvency.

Applicable surplus lines disclosures will be provided as required by law.

12. Third-Party Products and Services

Ovest Insurance Partners may provide access to or information regarding services offered by third parties, including insurance companies, wholesalers, premium finance companies, payroll providers, employee benefits providers, cybersecurity providers, payment processors, and other professional or business service providers.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these services are provided independently by the third-party provider.

Ovest Insurance Partners is not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, services, contractual obligations, or performance of independent third-party providers.

Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing insurance.

15. Electronic Communications and Signatures

You agree that electronic communications, documents, disclosures, applications, notices, and signatures may have the same legal effect as paper communications and handwritten signatures where permitted by applicable law.

Electronic signature services may be provided by third-party vendors.
